I believe in storytelling. Photography is more than just pretty smiles and beautiful backgrounds. Yes, of course those things help. But a truly good photo, or set of photos, will give you back a fleeting piece of your life to keep forever. It can highlight the nuances of a relationship, allow you to relive an emotion, or show the growth that you or your family have made. A good photo gives you back the little things, tells the story of your now, truthfully and beautifully, before it inevitably changes.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe that capturing a moment takes more than just a camera. After all, there are plenty of photographers out there. So why choose me?

Of course, being a photographer is about having a good eye, and knowing your lighting and angles, but most importantly, capturing those special memories is about the moments between, the real moments.

When I'm shooting a session, I want us to play, to have fun, to truly make memories. I focus on the real, the genuine, the moments worth remembering.

If you put your trust in me, I will help you to let go, to feel comfortable and enjoy our time together. My job is not about pushing a button on a machine, but about getting you to show me who you are so that we can capture this sliver of your life together.
